Sale record of real property from an estate, 1821- .

Lands of an estate may be sold by order of the probate court under certain conditions (see Ala. Code, 43-2-443 [1975]). This series consists of printed forms that record the petition to sell land, proof of publication of sale notice, description of lands, report of the sale, and to whom sold. This record began in 1821 and continues to the present.
